Brad Buschow
Lead Counselor
I’m someone who believes God meets us most deeply in the places we least wanted to go.
My calling to walk with others through betrayal, relational challenges, and spiritual disorientation didn’t just come from textbooks — it came from my own story. I know what it’s like to wake up in a life that no longer feels familiar, to question your worth, your future, and even the God you’ve trusted your whole life.
But I also know what it looks like to rebuild — slowly, honestly, and with Jesus leading each trembling step.
Growing up I experienced many of the same challenges we all face; family loss, exposure to family members with mental illness and the general stressors and anxieties of life. These formative experiences taught me compassion, responsibility, and how to remain anchored in love even when life feels unpredictable.
Then, much later in life, I faced the kind of relational trauma no one prepares for — betrayal inside covenant. It shook everything. It stripped me to the studs spiritually and emotionally. Yet in the rubble, God built a deeper peace, a deeper identity, and a deeper understanding of what real restoration looks like.
That season became a crucible — one that refined my faith, stripped out illusions, deepened my dependency on Christ, and reshaped my understanding of healing, covenant, and emotional wholeness. It also revealed the desperate need for a space where believers can process trauma honestly without being rushed, minimized, or spiritually bypassed.
Today, I walk alongside men and women who are in that same bewildering space — trying to reconcile deep wounds with deep faith. I don’t rush people to forgiveness or bypass their pain with Bible verses. I offer grounded biblical counsel, emotional clarity, and steady companionship in the valley.
My approach is rooted in:
-
Anchoring your life in truth, dignity, and an unshakeable hope in God
-
Discernment and dignity in relational decision-making
-
Emotional stabilization and spiritual growth
-
Providing a place to process grief, anger, and identity questions in a safe way
-
Rebuilding your internal world with clarity and peace
Outside of counseling, I’m a husband, a father of five, grandfather of three and am currently completing my Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling at Southwestern Theological Seminary. I am a man who values quiet mornings with God, deep conversations and the kind of friendships built on honesty and shared faith. I’m the type who prefers depth over noise, growth over comfort, and integrity over appearances.
If you are carrying heartbreak, confusion, or the silent weight of betrayal, you don’t have to walk alone. Healing is not the end of your story — and God isn’t done forming strength in you.
I believe healing is not about going back to who you were — it’s about becoming who God intended, even through suffering.
My heart is not simply to help you survive betrayal — but to shepherd you toward a place of spiritual resilience, emotional clarity, and quiet strength.
I’d be honored to walk with you toward hope, clarity, and a faith that’s unshakeable because it has been tested and held.
